You know, it wasn’t all work. Thank God. After the days were done, we couldn’t resist taking in all that South by Southwest and Austin, Texas had to offer. From filling up on Voodoo Donuts, catching live music on Dirty Sixth Street, and taking a spin on a massive Ferris Wheel, this year’s SxSW proved the best yet.
Sure, both Swagr and Social Imprints’ booth proved to be the most popular one at SxSWi. Unlike many vendors, we were actually creating our own swag onsite. Seeing the physical process of shirts being printed and then handed out to eager fans had people lined up around our booth each day until we ran out. (For those of you planning on attending SxSW 2017, we promise have even more shirts and totes in tow!)
But all work and no play would’ve made for a pissy scene and cranky employees. Take a look at some of the choice scenes around town.
Even if you’re not part of the convention, we can’t stress enough how much fun it is to be a part of something as unique and innovative as this annual bash in Texas. Just don’t forget the barbecue. Lots of barbecue. Texas, as we found out, isn’t a place for calorie counting.
