College Football Swag Muck Up

I bet the screen printer wishes they had a mulligan on this one. We are on the cusp of the opening weekend of college football, and some company has managed to muck up what could have been a great rivalry shirt. Ok, in all fairness, the person who did this is from Ireland. After the years of oppression that country has survived, and now having to deal with American football being pushed into their native land, we get it. Yet and still, this hot mess masquerading around as CFB swag is one word – terrible. What’s worse is that someone actually had to pay for this to be produced. The funny part is that it doesn’t seem to be leaving the shelves any time soon.

I wouldn’t necessarily pen this one in the old calendar.
For those that were not aware Georgia Tech and Boston College will face off September 3rd, in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. If these shirts are any indication of what’s to come, I wouldn’t necessarily pen this one in the old calendar.
Ok, so let just break this shirt down until there’s nothing left but a filthy rag and a single spindle of polyester. For starters, the teams displayed on the shirt are not the ones hitting Ireland’s gridiron. If anyone dared mistake Georgia Tech for Georgia or Boston University for Boston college, the haymakers would fly. Next, the nondescript helmets quasi feature team colors. To top it all off, the garment is hella wrinkled. Hath you no steamer in Ireland?
To sum it all up this college football shirt gets a total swag score of zero. Basically.
