Fútbol fans got to view Adidas’ latest venture, on sport’s largest stage. A couple of months ago Adidas introduced its new line of product made from recycled plastic that once polluted the Indian Ocean. The apparel line was to include professional soccer uniforms as well.
Fans got a chance to feast their eyes on the offerings when Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid took the field in the recycled gear, according to Yahoo.
While Real Madrid’s all white apparel was great in the durability department, but a heavy rain brought an added bonus to many fans as the water rendered the jerseys nearly see-through, allowing fans a good look at players, like Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fans can also look forward to Adidas made recycled jerseys for German club, Bayern Munich.
