There’s one epic prankster that’s cashing in, big time, on his latest shenanigans. You remember when Hollywood sign said “Hollyweed” on New Year’s Day and made national news? Now the mastermind behind it all, Zach Fernandez, also known as “Jesushands” via the internet, has expanded his empire to include “Hollyweed” merchandise, and the new venture is making him some serious bucks.
Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either. If that isn’t spectacular enough, what’s more striking is the merchandise price point. Get this, one “Hollyweed” sweatshirt will cost you $150. If a T-shirt is more your style, that’ll run you 100 big ones. Additionally, Fernandez is auctioning signed and numbered photos of the “Hollyweed” sign, which are going for $1,000 each.
Hernandez whereabouts are currently unknown. Apparently, he left Los Angeles after the prank, and is trying his hand at laying low, for fear of criminal charges. However, according to TMZ the LAPD isn’t exactly listing him as public enemy No. 1. He’s a wanted man, under trespassing charges, only.
Zach, er, Jesushands, or whatever you want to be called, the future is looking bright, my friend. And, you’ve already sold enough merchandise to cover any pending fines.
